In today's scenario, an Aadhar card has become an important part of the life of Indians, if you want to get a SIM, open a bank account, get a passport, or establish your identity, you need an Aadhar card. In such a situation, it is very important to keep it updated, but while making an Aadhar card, some mistakes are made like name, address, date of birth etc. You can correct them easily, but limited times, let's know how many times you can change the name in Aadhar card-
Update Features: UIDAI allows you to update personal information like your name, date of birth, mobile number and address.
Free online updates: Updates can be done for free till October 2024, but only through the online myAadhaar portal myAadhaar.
Update frequency: It is mandatory to refresh your Aadhar card information every 10 years.
Name change limits: You can change your name on your Aadhaar card only twice in your lifetime. The third change can be done only under special circumstances by requesting your regional UIDAI office.
Address change policy: There is no limit on the number of times you can update your address through UIDAI's self-service portal, ssup.uidai.gov.in.
Processing time: Most update requests (about 90%) are completed within 30 days. If it has been more than 90 days since your request, you can contact UIDAI at 1947 for assistance.
