Andoni Iraola delivers new Dean Huijsen transfer statement amid £50m Chelsea call

Andoni Iraola has said that transfer speculation surrounding target has not impacted the Spanish star’s concentration as Bournemouth prepare for the crucial end-of-season run-in.

Speaking before Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United, Iraola said: "From what I see every day, training and playing, I don’t think it is affecting him at all.

"I see him in the same mood that he normally is. He’s training well and I think he’s playing well also. Even being young, this is not something that is strange for him."

Known for his composure on the pitch, Iraola confirmed that his coveted star is also well equipped to deal with pressures and speculation that can surface from it.

"He’s coming from big teams, even if he wasn’t in the first-team," Iraola said. "But he’s coming from Roma, from Juventus, from teams where these things are probably quite natural, and I see him quite normal."
