Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper makes rare emotional confession

Kaleb Cooper, the charismatic young farmer from Clarkson's Farm, has spoken candidly about how farming transformed his life. Thrust into the spotlight in 2021 alongside on in Oxfordshire, Cooper's straight-talking and humorous exchanges with Clarkson have created some of the show's most iconic moments.

However, in an emotional interview with Heat magazine, Cooper revealed that life wasn't always easy, and farming became his salvation during a tumultuous period. Reflecting on his parents' difficult divorce, Cooper shared that his mother struggled financially, prompting him to seek work at a young age.

He told Heat: "Mum struggled to pay the rent and I went out to get a job. From what I knew about farming, it just appealed to me.

"I got my first job when I was just 12 and by age 13 I had my own business."

Farming not only provided a livelihood but also helped him cope with the emotional strain of his family life. Cooper confessed to Gloucestershire Live: "Farming saved me as a person. I think I'd be horrible if farming didn't come along because the divorce wasn't nice, and I became a bit of an a***hole."

By immersing himself in agriculture, Cooper channeled his energy positively, and his role on Clarkson's Farm has now made him a cherished public figure, reports .

He remains in close collaboration with Clarkson, managing the vast 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm. With a third season of Clarkson's Farm already out this year and a fourth one in production, Cooper's career appears to be on an upward curve.
