Curtis Jones welcomes baby daughter with partner Saffie in emotional five-word post

In an emotional post on Instagram, Jones wrote: "Giselle Delilah Jones. 13.10.24. You are our entire world."

It had been unclear as to why Jones had pulled out of the England squad, but many had surmised that it would have been due to Khan's pregnancy, after she recently posted on Instagram an image with the caption: "Ready for my autumn baby".

In a series of pictures posted to social media, Jones and Khan are both seen holding the baby after returning home, while also posting images in the hospital after her birth.

Giselle Delilah Jones is also seen wearing a cardigan, with the nickname, 'Gigi', while looking to have black hair - matching her parents'. Jones is seen carrying Gigi in a doona pram as they left the hospital.

Giselle is Jones and Khan's first child together, believed to have been together for over six years while keeping their relationship private over the years.

It remains unclear whether Jones will spend time away from the Liverpool first-team but is likely to be available for this weekend's game with Chelsea after withdrawing from the England team this past week.

Jones did not travel with the England team alongside with that went to Helsinki to defeat Finland, after the LFC midfielder was an unused substitute in their loss to Greece at Wembley Stadium last week.

Jones was left out of Carsley's first squad in September for their National League wins over Ireland and Finland, having missed the start of the season under through injury. But the 23-year-old has impressed since returning to full health, getting the start over in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Reds' last game.

He will likely be competing with Szoboszlai and for a place in Slot's first-team midfield going forward, with and solidifying the other two midfield positions.
