EastEnders sparks Kat Slater death fears after Tommy outburst as scene 'signals exit'

viewers are fearing a death will rock the Slater family in tragic scenes, amid a possible exit on the soap.

Viewers know that Kat Slater has been attacked multiple times by her teen son Tommy Moon, with the soap covering an abuse storyline. Tommy has been lashing out at this loved ones including his father Alfie and his younger siblings too, with violent outbursts.

His mother Kat has faced most of the violence, and in an episode this week his cousin Freddie Slater was left injured. As news of Tommy's actions spread on Wednesday, it was teased an exit could be on the way.

Kat's aunt Jean Slater had walked in on Tommy shouting abuse at his younger brothers, terrifying them. But she was mortified when she found bruises on them, with Alfie also horrified by how far his son had gone.

Kat was clearly unnerved but tried to downplay the situation, suggesting it was a phase. But it was obvious she feared being alone with her own son, and at the end of the episode someone made a decision about the teenager.

Jean was shown making a call to social services, preparing to report Tommy's abuse. Could this lead to Tommy facing trouble for his actions, and might it lead to an exit for the troubled youngster?

Amid a possible exit for the character, fans were fearing his actions could go to far and lead to a death. Given how much he has hurt Kat already, one theory suggested in a tragic twist the plot could lead to him killing his own mum.

Fans fear Tommy will lash out and end up fatally injuring Kat. There's a teased death on the way with cast recently spotted filming a funeral, while all clues point to it being Linda Carter or a Carter relative.

But one fan suggested the funeral might actually be for Kat, and that she might die in sad scenes. Taking to social media, the theory read: "Anyone else thinking it's Kat that dies and that's whose funeral it will be? I think Tommy kills her, just a thought."

It doesn't seem to be Kat's funeral given the pictures showed the Carter relatives, minus Linda, gathering at the graveside. Linda's children including Nancy and Lee who aren't back on the show yet were seen mourning someone.

But while the funeral filmed is unlikely to be Linda's, could Kat still be in serious danger as Tommy's violence escalates?
