Liam Gallagher revealed that the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois boxing match will involve an Oasis-heavy setlist.

The musician and his brother Noel Gallagher put their years-long feud behind them to reunite for a UK and Ireland tour next year. With their reunion came rumours about events they could be playing in the future. Some fans believe they could be performing at the Super Bowl with Kendrick Lamar.

It was also rumoured that the brothers could be performing together for the first time in years at the boxing match at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. The last time the Manchester rockers performed was in August 2009 at V Festival in Staffordshire, before Noel quit six days later saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer” after a backstage brawl at a Paris event.

Liam's short set at the stadium, which he will perform before the boxers get into the ring, was revealed on his X, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday. He wrote to his followers: "SETLIST for the boxing tmoz ROCK N ROLL STAR SUPERSONIC CIGS n ALCOHOL tune in or get tuned in LG x.”

All three of the tracks are Oasis songs. One fan cheekily asked if he was excited by the idea of performing in front of a 96,000-strong crowd. He responded: "Yeah it’s a little on the small side but I’ll manage." He previously said on his account that he wouldn't be staying long at the venue as he's travelling to Malta for his Liam Gallagher and Friends festival that same weekend.

An Instagram post from Liam's account previously hinted at the excitement of Liam performing at the event: "September 21st, Liam will perform 3 Oasis classics at the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois match at Wembley Stadium."

The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, have been stirring up excitement with the possibility of a joint appearance at an upcoming boxing match. Just two weeks ago, it was hinted that Noel, 57, might join his brother Liam for a performance at the event. Speaking to talkSPORT, boxing official Turki Alalshikh expressed his hopes: "I hope so! It will be something amazing if we get them together." When quizzed about whether Noel had been approached, Turki added: "We will try. Why not? " However, there's no indication that Noel will actually attend or perform at the event.

It was confirmed last month that Oasis is set to embark on a UK and Ireland tour next year. Despite not having performed together since 2009, the brothers are reuniting for the Oasis Live '25 world tour after reconciling from years of public feuding.
