Fastag annual pass will be activated from today. Know what the benefits are and where to pay the fee - answer to every question.
How will the toll be deducted?
Now let's come to the question of where the Fastag pass will not work and how will you pay toll tax on these roads. This pass will not be valid on State Highway or State Expressway. You can use it only on National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE).
At the toll plazas where the Fastag pass will not work, you will have to get your Fastag balance deducted. That is, you will have to keep some balance separately in the same Fastag, which will be used at such toll plazas where the Fastag pass does not work. You do not need to get a separate Fastag.
The pass will last for 200 trips or one year
If you activate the annual pass on your Fastag sticker, then you will get free travel for 200 trips or one year. After crossing a toll plaza, one of your trips will be reduced, while after a round trip, your two trips will be counted. This pass is very beneficial for those who travel continuously. Such people can save up to 5 to 7 thousand rupees in a year.
