Google has now launched a new AI Mode feature in its search service in India as well. This feature was first launched experimentally in the US and after receiving a very positive response from the users there, it has now been made available in India in the English language under Google Labs.
What is Google Search's AI Mode?
Google's new AI Mode allows users to ask long, complex, and detailed questions, which previously gave clear answers only after searching several times. For example, you can ask Google, "My children are 4 and 7 years old and have a lot of energy. Suggest creative ways to keep them active and busy indoors during the summer, without taking up too much space or expensive toys." After this, you can ask in follow-up, "Suggest activities that they can do themselves."
How does AI Mode work?
This feature uses a custom version of Google's Gemini 2.5 and is based on the Query Fan-Out Technique, which divides your question into smaller topics performs multiple searches simultaneously, and gives fresh, accurate, and detailed answers. Using AI Mode, you can get information from real-time data and Knowledge Graphs. You can get shopping-related information about millions of products. It has multimodal support, that is, you can use it by speaking, writing, or uploading photos.
How to use AI Mode?

Find an experiment named "AI Mode" there and turn it on.
Now use the new feature by clicking on the "Try AI Mode" button.
Or search anything on Google.
Tap on the "AI Mode" tab appearing above the result.
