SSC Recruitment Digital Process: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made a major digital change in its recruitment process by eliminating the physical dossier system and implementing the 'e-Dossier' system. The objective of this initiative is to deliver the documents of the selected candidates to the concerned ministries and departments with speed and security.
What is the e-dossier system?
The e-Dossier is a completely digital and secure system, through which SSC is now sending the documents of the selected candidates to the ministries online. This facility is being made available to the nodal officers on the special e-Dossier portal of SSC through secure login credentials.
The pre-appointment process will be fast and transparent.
According to the Ministry of Personnel, with this new system, pre-appointment formalities will be completed many times faster than before, which will benefit lakhs of youth. Also, this will ensure transparency in the recruitment process and the security of data.
In which exams have the e-dossier system been implemented?
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has already successfully implemented the e-dossier system in several major examinations. These exams are:
Junior Engineer Examination 2024
Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2024 (CHSL 2024)
Multi-Tasking Staff Examination 2024 (MTS 2024)
Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 (CGL 2024)
Through this digital system, the documents of the selected candidates are now being sent to the concerned ministries and departments completely online, making the appointment process faster and transparent.
Paperless processes, the environment also benefit
Using digital documents instead of physical dossiers will save paper and will also strengthen the government's goals of Digital India and sustainability. SSC said that this module is completely secure in that every access is logged. This ensures that no dossier can be tampered with or altered.
