Frustrated Sanjiv Goenka exits stadium after Pant's dismissal

As the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) is back again after a short break, so is Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka. During the last stint of the IPL, cricket enthusiasts witnessed a big-time cinema, as LSG and IPL's highest-paid player, Rishabh Pant, failed to deliver an impressive performance.

Following this, LSG owners' expressions in the stands have broken the internet, and a similar incident was noticed on Monday, May 20, 2025, during the clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Yet again, the 27-year-old LSG captain was expected to deliver a promising performance and regain his form after a short break, but was unfortunately dismissed for just 7 in the all-important do-or-die clash with SRH.

The wicketkeeper batter looked in a bit of a rush and stayed in the middle for just six balls ahead of hitting it straight to Eshan Malinga, who held onto a dramatic catch to dismiss Pant.

Well, this marked another failure for the player who was signed for INR 27 crore, the highest-paid player in the IPL's history. Following this, the LSG owner once again stole the spotlight and was spotted in the stands, completely miffed.

Goenka looked visibly upset with Pant's cheap dismissal and left the stadium's balcony in frustration. His reaction has now gone viral on social media.
