Two bikers looted gold chains, bracelets in Madhya Pradesh's Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 11 (ANI): In a shocking incident, two bike-borne men looted three gold chains, two bracelets, and two rings from three persons by threatening them in broad daylight in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, a police officer said.
The incident occurred near Rani Sati Gate under the jurisdiction of Tukoganj police station in the city on Monday. The victims were standing in a parking lot near their house. In the meantime, the accused came on bike and ran off with the items, the police added.
On receiving the information about the incident, the police rushed to spot and began investigation into the matter. The incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed nearby the spot and based on the footage police searching the accused.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP, Zone 3), Hansraj Singh told ANI, "We received information around 7:45 today morning that Kamlesh Aggarwal, who lives near Rani Sati gate in the city, and his two relatives Nilesh and Nishank, were standing in the parking lot near their house. A program was organised at their house. During this, two persons on a bike arrived and snatched three gold chains, two bracelets and two rings by threatening them and ran away from the spot."


Acting on the information, Tukoganj police station in charge and other police officials reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. The team were checking the CCTV footage and collecting information about the bike used in the crime.
A case has been registered under section 309 and 351 (3) of Bharatiya Nyay Sahita (BNS). Efforts are on to nab the accused at earliest and to recover the stolen items from their procession, he added. (ANI)
