Even though Shiv Sena(UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray attended the recent meeting of the INDIA alliance in New Delhi and extended his support to Rahul Gandhi's campaign against the Election Commission (EC) on ‘vote chori’, the Congress remains indecisive on the impending alliance between the two Thackerays – Uddhav and Raj.
Terming the coming together of two brothers as a family issue, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in charge of Maharashtra, Ramesh Chennithala, clarified on Tuesday that no decision has been made yet regarding Raj Thackeray.
“Raj Thackeray is yet to join the MVA, and once the decision is made (by the two brothers), the Congress will take a call,” he said.

Chennithala said the MVA had won the maximum number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections, but the vote chori helped the Mahayuti to win the mandate in the assembly elections.
