Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A major accident was narrowly avoided on Tuesday morning when thick smoke started coming out of a moving passenger bus near Jabalpur.
The bus was carrying more than 36 passengers and was travelling from Nivas to Jabalpur.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing thick smoke coming out from all sides of the bus while passengers and locals gather around it.

The accident occurred near Deori Patpara village in Barela, Jabalpur district.
According to reports, the bus was moving at a good speed when suddenly smoke started coming from the engine area.
What did the driver do?
As the smoke increased, panic spread among the passengers. Some people feared the bus might catch fire, and many started shouting for help. Realising the danger, the bus driver acted quickly.
He stopped the bus safely on the roadside and asked all passengers to get out immediately. Thanks to his smartness and presence of mind, everyone was safely evacuated in time.

Later, it was found that the smoke was caused due to a mechanical fault in the vehicle.
A replacement bus was arranged, and all passengers were safely sent to Jabalpur. The timely action of the driver and local support helped avoid a possible tragedy.
