Illawarra Hawks’ star import and three-time NBA champion **JaVale McGee** delivered a statement game — and a sharp response — after guiding his team to a remarkable 107–93 win over defending champions **Melbourne United** in a heated NBL Finals rematch.

In a powerful all-around display, McGee dominated both ends of the court, putting up **37 points and 14 rebounds** — his **eighth double-double** of the season — and leading the Hawks to one of the biggest upsets of the year.
