Staff at a steak restaurant dumped a diner's body outside after he had collapsed at a table, police say.
Jessie Mobley Jr, 34, passed out at his table at the steakhouse after his meal, but employees allegedly placed him and his belongings outside a hair and beauty college nearby. It is understood the staff thought Mr Mobley was homeless, and did not call police for assistance.
A student discovered the man's body the next morning near the college in Houston, Texas, authorities identified the man and let his father, Jessie Mobley, Sr. and his step-mother, Renee Mobley, to see him one last time. Renee said: "The way we seen him was horrible. He has turned purple. There were signs of decay."
Ants had crawled on Mr Mobley's ears and one side of his body was purple, local media reports. His cause of death has not yet been determined.

Speaking to Houston Chronicle, Renee added: "We just think if somebody had gotten him some help instead of putting him on the sidewalk — called 911 if nothing else... If you don’t know what is wrong with someone, you shouldn’t assume."
If the cause of death is determined to be from natural causes, the investigation will close, the Houston Police Department said. It is unclear when the probe will be concluded, but Mr Mobley died on August 7.
Mr Mobley's aunt Charlene Fogg-Drake said: "Why didn't you call 911? I feel like people need to be accountable for it, I really do." On several occasions since the death, his aunt has set up candles, balloons, flowers and signs for Mr Mobley outside the steak restaurant, but they have all been taken down, she said.
It has emerged Mr Mobley's parents have now lost three kids in the span of 13 years. Renee continued: "There’s no aging gracefully after losing a child." The mum said she remembers Mr Mobley as a fun-loving person, who dealt with many trials and tribulations in his lifetime.
It comes after four siblings - as young as 18 months - witnessed a sand dune collapse on their dad, burying the young man headfirst. Kane was trapped for 15 minutes at Muriwai Beach in New Zealand and, though emergency services freed him, he was later pronounced dead in hospital. The tragedy happened on Saturday afternoon as Kane, 28, played with his 18-month-old daughter and his three stepsons.
Following the man's death at Auckland City Hospital on Sunday, tributes have been paid to him - and his family heartbreakingly confirmed he has a new baby on the way whom he will never meet.
