A viral hackOn Tiktok there are many popular methods but one that does the job just as well as shop bought cleaners is simple, by adding half a cup of water, half a cup of white vinegar and a tablespoon of white vinegar to a spray bottle with a little shake, you can spray it directly onto your fridge and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
But for the stubborn marks, gently run with scrunched up foil, then spray and wipe again. If the vinegar smell is too much, adding in a few drops of essential oil can mask it well.
Baking soda, olive oil, lemon juice and even fizzy drinks can all individually help with stains - seems questionable but it's true.
Baking soda - mix with a little water to create a paste. Rub it into marks with a soft cloth, then wipe clean with a damp one.
Olive oil - make sure to use sparingly on a cloth to buff the surface to a shine after cleaning - always goes with the grain.
Lemon juice - mix lemon juice with water, wipe over the surface, then dry. Great for removing water spots and leaving a fresh smell.
Fizzy drinks - Pour into a spray bottle or onto a cloth and wipe down. The bubbles help lift grime and smudges, then simply dry with a clean cloth. But choose your fizzy drink wisely, lemonade works best - not sure if a can of coke will do the same job..
Keep these tricks as habitsIt’s not just when you notice a mark when you should clean your fridge, if you do it regularly - it will be easier and stress free.
