Is Usher married? What his partner really thinks about his frisky on stage antics

Hit singer Usher's ten night residency at London's O2 Arena is well underway - and the slick singing sensation has been leaving fans having to Pop Ya Collar.

The R&B superstar, 46, is famed for have dance moves as sexually charged as his silky vocals, with body popping, thrusting, gyrating and other suggestive movements making him a shoe-in for any future Magic Mike movie. But there's one woman who gets to enjoy Usher's rhythmic talents on tap, his wife, Senior Vice President of A&R at Epic Records, Jennifer Goicoechea, 41.

The couple celebrated their one year anniversary at the start of February, after they tied the knot in front of an impersonator in Las Vegas, ahead of Usher's 2024 Super Bowl show. The couple were already well established after they first went public with their relationship in 2019.

The singer, who's real name Usher Raymond IV, and his record executive wife have a daughter, Sovereign Bo, who was born in 2020, and they welcomed their son, Sire Castrello the following year.

Usher is also a dad to two sons, Usher V and Naviyd Ely, who he shares with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. As you'd expect from one of the smoothest R&B stars in music history, Usher has plenty of loved up things to say about his wife.

In November 2023 he told "I have an amazing partner, a support system. We have an amazing dynamic. I'm very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner. She's my best friend and I love her."

He has also revealed that she is supportive of his career - and his suggestive stage shows - but as they have made a pact to never work together, it's in a wife capacity only.

"I definitely rely on her opinion about things. She’s an incredible sounding board and brings calm to some of my madness sometimes," he said. "If this is a business that you’re in, I’m going to help establish and work on it. But it’s your business, you know, and then we have the things that we do together, but it’s not a mandate.

"It’s a choice in a relationship. Your things are your things, my things are. I have something I’m passionate about. I need your support, I need your help, I want to get counsel.

"But those kinds of boundaries established, I think hopefully gonna make this a more sustainable relationship."

Jennifer is Usher's third wife. His first marriage, to Tameka, took place in 2007. They reportedly planned the ceremony in just a few weeks, with insiders claiming that they wanted to walk down the aisle before the bride’s baby bump began to show.

Usher told PEOPLE at the time: "It has already been announced that I plan to marry this year.

"However, since my wedding day will be special to Tameka and I, this is information that we would like to keep private.

"I am happy, excited, completely clear and independent on my direction, feelings, decisions and I am NOT BEING LED," he stated. "I understand the fact that I must sacrifice some anonymity for the career I love. However, some things are personal like having a child or a marriage.

"These aspects are not for the public and, to me, are sacred. I would hope my privacy in these areas would be respected." They divorced in 2009, with Usher admitting, "We’re two different people and we have two different goals.

However it didn’t deter him from marriage, and he wed again, saying "I do" to his manager Grace Miguel in a secret ceremony in Cuba in 2015. The pair divorced three years later.

At the start of the 2000s, Usher had a two-year relationship with TLC singer Chilli. She appeared in his steamy videos for U Got It Bad, U Remind Me, and U Don't Have to Call.
