Although he works full time as an NHS GP, Dr Amir Khanis best known for his regular appearances on ITV shows, such as Lorraine, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain (GMB). The doctor also regularly shares updates with his 721,000 Instagram followers, whom he affectionately refers to as "team".
And if you're one of his social media fans, you may well already know that his personal life seems to be a very wholesome one. Dr Amir loves spending time in nature and his Instagram feed features many posts of both his own outdoor spaces and the creatures that inhabit them, with everything from ladybirds, to hedgehogs and birds on there.
In fact, fans may not know that Dr Amir is the president of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). The RSPB describes him as a "keen nature enthusiast, who inspires hundreds of thousands of his followers on social media with daily videos and photos from his astonishing wildlife garden and local green spaces".

Dr Amir also became a Vice President for The Wildlife Trusts back in 2021. At the time he said: "The natural world has something for everyone. And it has an incredible effect on us all.
"We've seen from studies that exposure to green spaces, from vast, undeveloped landscapes to urban parks and street greenery, lowers the body's stress hormone cortisol. We know that children and young people who have access are more creative and imaginative."
Dr Amir seems very family-oriented and is a very hands-on uncle to his nieces and nephews. He also likes to spend a lot of time with his mum, "Mama Khan", who was sadly recently diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2024, and is undergoing treatment.
Dr Amir's social media followers will know all about Mama Khan, as she features in a number of Instagram clips, including one which sees her massage her son's scalp with coconut oil, and another of her recent one of getting ready to go to a restaurant. Dr Amir Khan comes from a large family of doctors and is the only boy out of his six sisters.
While little is known about his siblings, Dr Amir shared a photo of himself and his niece taken at her wedding on X, formerly Twitter, last year. Captioning the snap, the GP said: "I’m a proud uncle today - after weeks of celebrating, dancing and eating…it’s OFFICIALLY my niece's wedding day!"
Dr Amir also regularly shares photos of himself and an ex-colleague, "Debs". His fans seem to especially enjoy the videos of them dancing together.
