ITV This Morning star says 'we nearly lost the whole crew' after co-star's live blunder

This Morning returned to our telly screens on Tuesday (8 July), with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard leading the charge.

They brought viewers up-to-date news and lifestyle advice, joined by Lisa Snowdon and Dr Zoe Williams throughout the programme.

Actress and TV star Natalie Anderson fronted Tuesday's competition segment, joining Cat and Ben live from Mykonos via video link.

Broadcasting live from a boat, Natalie revealed the details of This Morning's latest competition for viewers, but the segment quickly descended into chaos as the boat she was on became unstable.

"Absolutely beautiful here in Mykonos, one of Europe's most popular summer destinations," Natalie started. "Yesterday was beach vibes, today we're cruising. Please, just take a look at these views!"

She went on: "It is amazing, the sea is sparkling, the buildings are so white, it is incredibly glamorous here and it's the perfect place to tell you all about our huge competition."

Natalie began to struggle to keep her cool as the boat hit a massive wave, causing her and the crew to lose their footing, reports Wales Online.

"That was a huge wave!" Natalie exclaimed as she continued to giggle, with Ben and Cat looking shocked in the This Morning studio.

Natalie did her best to regain her composure as the segment wrapped up, with the crew behind her trying to restore order.

Later, she reconnected with Cat and Ben via video call to revisit the competition details, with Ben confessing to the audience: "I thought we'd nearly lost the whole crew!" following the earlier on-air gaffe. Natalie, seemingly unfazed, popped back on-screen to carry on.

Known for her stints on This Morning and Loose Women since 2015, Natalie has become a familiar ITV face. She's also recognised for her acting chops, notably as Stella Davenport in The Royal and Alicia Metcalfe on Emmerdale.

Thursday's episode of This Morning wasn't just about near-misses; it included a cosy chat with Johnny Vegas who divulged the scoop on his new TV venture. Plus, style queen Lisa Snowdon dropped by to deliver her top fashion advice for the upcoming summer season.
