Speaking to their followers, Kath opened the video by saying: "Let's take out for a second the fact that I obviously have massive emotional stakes in the comments that Mickey made to Jojo by the virtue of her being my f**king partner. They're also rooted in misogyny and f**king violence."

After detailing Mickey and Jojo's conversation, Kath said that the actor wanting to vote Jojo out was "rooted in misogyny". They said: "If men deem you unf**kable, they have no use for you. If the male gaze is not a part of this situation and I have no power over you sexually- which no offence Mickey you look like a f**king foot, so you don't stand a chance with anyone anyway because you're a f**king loser - then I'm going to bully you.

"You're not going to play into my creepy jokes, I'm going to bully you and say that I don't want you here. And then he proceeds to call her a f****t. There are so many layers to that interaction, it makes me feel sick to my stomach."

Kath added that while they were glad that Big Brother gave Mickey a formal warning, his language was "dangerous". They said: "I would not want to be alone in a room with him and I wouldn't want anyone to be alone in a room with him."

Issuing a message to Mickey, Kath said: "Mate that wasn't a short fuse. You revealed yourself, you revealed the way that you really think and the way that you think about women and you feel a little bit ashamed because you got called out for it on a television show.

"Maybe instead, read a f***ing book, interrogate your f**king behaviour and think about if you had a daughter or a sister or someone that you really loved who was a woman, would you leave them alone with you."

Later on their Instagram story, Kath took a swipe at Jojo's fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemates, saying: "Also the fact that only one person pulled him up on it is very telling of where we are at.

"Men don't bother wearing your ribbons on international women's day if you're not going to actually start doing something to end men's violence against women. It doesn't just start when a woman or queer person is physically assaulted. The ladder to that is comments like this."

In yesterday's show, Big Brother gave Mickey a formal warning over his comments and Mickey went onto apologise to Jojo. “I apologise. I don’t have dishonourable intentions - I’m just talking smack you know. I wasn’t taking it all so serious. I didn’t mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry," he told Jojo.
