Marcus Rashford has received backing from a host of former Manchester United colleagues after delivering another assist for Barcelona in their 2-1 triumph over Real Sociedad. The 27-year-old struggled initially following his season-long loan switch from United during the summer transfer window, but has found his rhythm since the September international break concluded.
Rashfordhas now contributed either a goal or an assist in his previous five outings for the Catalan giants. The England star netted his maiden and second strikes for Barca against Newcastle United in the Champions League this month andhas provided one assist across his last four La Liga fixtures.
On Sunday, Rashford delivered the cross for Jules Kounde to nod home Barcelona's leveller as Hansi Flick's men recovered from a deficit to defeat Sociedad. Robert Lewandowski then netted the decisive winner in the second half.

Following the match, Rashford posted a six-word message on Instagram directed at the Barca faithful. Accompanied by four action shots from the Sociedad clash, he wrote: "Huge 3 points! Let's keep pushing [folded hands emoji]."
Responding to Rashford's update, former United team-mates Tyrell Malacia, Joshua Zirkzee, Lisandro Martinez, Phil Jones, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek and David De Gea were amongst those to show their support with likes, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde also responded with two fire emojis.
Following his team's seventh victory in eight matches this season, Flick expressed: "We found it very difficult, but we also deserve this win. I really appreciate how my team is playing, how they perform.
"It doesn't matter if we change the starting XI a bit, because they all give their all and I love that. I am very proud. It's incredible. I am very happy for them and for the fans."
Rashford is finding his stride just in time for Barca's high-profile Champions League showdown against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

They then take on Sevilla before the October international break.
Post that, Rashford is set to join the England national team for a match against Wales and a World Cup qualifier away at Latvia.
He netted a goal in his last outing for Thomas Tuchel's side in the 5-0 triumph in Serbia.
