New parents Mark Wright, 38, and Michelle Keegan, 38, have been the talk of the town since welcoming their baby daughter Palma in March, with her distinctive name sparking curiosity among fans.
Mark has now revealed the inspiration behind their choice of name for their bundle of joy during a chat with his Heart FM colleague, Olly Murs, 41, who's also expecting his second child with wife Amelia.
During a discussion about baby names, Olly queried Mark: "In the break we were talking about baby names. When you picked Palma, it's such a beautiful name, was there any reason behind that?".

Mark shared the backstory: "So, in America, a lot of people call their kid Palmer, P-a-l-m-e-r, and we liked it, we just thought it sounded good with Wright.
"And then we were like, hang on a minute, we're lucky enough to have a place in Majorca, in Palma, Palma is our favourite place in the world to go to. So we thought, let's just change the end of the e-r and change it to an a, so, because we love Palma, there you go!"
Olly couldn't help but tease his mate by hinting that perhaps the Spanish city was where little Palma was conceived, jokingly saying: "So is that where you and Michelle, you know, wink-wink, had a bit of.."
However, Mark quickly steered the conversation away, mindful of their listeners, and exclaimed: "Moving on! By the way her dad is a big fan of our show so...," leading to an apologetic response from Olly: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!".
The former TOWIE celeb playfully retorted, "Get to that next point Mursy! So what are you talking about baby names for?".

Discussing impending fatherhood, X Factor's Olly divulged that baby names were swirling in his head as his second tot is "coming very, very soon", prompting Mark to query: "How long have you got now, by the way?".
Olly, known for the chart-topper 'Heart Skips a Beat', kept it coy: "I can't tell you. You know I like to keep things private, but Amelia is very big at the moment, so we're super excited."
Expressing the whirl of emotions ahead, he added, "We're starting to get nervous, that excited feeling, nerves, we're coming to the business end of it now, so it's gonna be an interesting few months."
Mark couldn't resist offering some naming advice, stating: "Apparently 40% of people name their kids after something they love, hence, Palma, which I didn't realise until I saw this stat."
Then he teased Olly with suggestions based on personal loves, saying: "So what I'm thinking, if you were to name your child after something you love, then maybe it could be called Peanut Butter? Or, what about Peanut!".
Initially hesitant about the peanut-themed names, Olly revealed a fun tidbit that he and Amelia have affectionately dubbed her blossoming belly Crumpet, owing to her frequent yearning for the buttery snack during her pregnancy.
