Renault India has announced a major price reduction across its lineup—Kwid, Kiger, and Triber—after passing on the benefit of GST 2.0 to customers. The revised prices will be effective from September 22, 2025. With this move, Renault has joined the list of automakers including Tata Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Mahindra that have already extended GST benefits to buyers.

New Prices After GST Benefit
  • Renault Kwid: Now priced between Rs 4.30 lakh and Rs 5.90 lakh. The reduction ranges from Rs 40,095 to Rs 54,995, making it an even more attractive option for first-time buyers.

  • Renault Kiger: Starting at Rs 5.76 lakh. The price cut ranges from Rs 53,695 on the base variant to Rs 96,395 on the top variant, bringing the top model down to Rs 10.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • Renault Triber: The popular 7-seater now starts at Rs 5.76 lakh. The base variant is cheaper by Rs 53,695, while the top model now costs Rs 8.60 lakh after a discount of up to Rs 80,195.

Company’s Stand

Renault India MD Venkatram Mamillapalli said the company is fully passing on GST savings to customers. “This step shows our commitment to affordability and is expected to boost demand in the festive season,” he noted.

More Value for Buyers

The facelifted versions of the Kiger and Triber, introduced recently with updated design and features, will now be available at lower prices. Meanwhile, the Kwid continues to hold its ground as one of India’s few true entry-level cars, popular among budget-conscious buyers.
