After some time, he again got Neelam Obi bowled and Jai Bhavsar trapped through LBW. After this, he got his 5th wicket by getting Chinmay Patil caught out and Moji Ete bowled. In this way, Arjun single-handedly destroyed the Arunachal Pradesh team by getting all the first 5 batsmen out on a score of just 36. The team could not recover from his havoc and could score only 84 runs in the first innings.

In this match, Goa declared the innings after scoring 555 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the first innings. During this, Arjun could not contribute with the bat. He was out without opening his account. In bowling, he took 2 wickets in the first innings, while in the second innings he got a chance to bowl 4 overs, in which he could not take any wicket.
