Big Relief for Beneficiary Women in Maharashtra as Government Announces Final Date for the 10th Installment

Mumbai: There’s good news for millions of women enrolled under Maharashtra's flagship welfare initiative, the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Launched in July 2024, this scheme provides a monthly financial aid of ₹1500 to eligible women through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). With nine installments already credited, anticipation around the 10th payout has finally come to an end.

📅 10th Installment Date Officially Confirmed

As per verified media reports and government sources, the 10th installment will be credited on April 30, 2025, which also marks the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. The amount is expected to be deposited in two phases depending on the status of previous payouts.

Women who did not receive the 8th and 9th installments will receive a lump sum of ₹4500, while those who have been getting payments regularly will get the standard ₹1500 for April.

📌 Key Features of the Ladki Bahin Scheme
  • Launch Date: July 2024

  • Monthly Financial Support: ₹1500 (via DBT)

  • Total Beneficiaries: Approximately 2.41 crore women

  • Annual Budget (2025-26): ₹36,000 crore

  • Promised Update: Although the government had announced a hike to ₹2100 per month, the current disbursal remains at ₹1500.

11 Lakh Women Declared Ineligible After Scrutiny
