Friends, as we all know that the Indian government runs many types of schemes to help the economically weaker people of their country, which aim to help these people and improve the lifestyle, recently the Government of India has approved a new scheme aimed at promoting the portfolio of electric assembles (EVs) and promoting green transportation in the country. Pradhan Mantri Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Enhancement (PM E-Drive) Yojana has been given the green signal. This scheme is running till now in place of FAME scheme and a budget of Rs 10,900 crore has been fixed for it, let's know the full details about it
Promotion of local enterprises:
Under the scheme, local manufacturing of equipment and parts related to electric society in the country will be approved.
For this, the Phased Manufacturing Program (PMP) will be implemented.
Assistance to domestic animals:
EV manufacturers who are locally based on equipment will be given financial assistance without the rate of domestic value addition.
However, some spices of chamomile can be purchased.
Compliance to PMP mandatory:
The company with concessional rights will have to maintain the PMP within six months of the notification of the scheme.
Also, it has to be ensured that the EV equipment is manufactured in India.
Change in financial assistance:
In the year 2025-26, the Amrajad on electric two-wheeler batch will be Rs 5,000 per vehicle.
At the same time, this assistance for the electric three-wheeler community will be limited to Rs 25,000 per vehicle.
