The winner of the American tournament National Cricket League (NCL) being played in 10 over format has been decided. Chicago won the title by defeating Atlanta Kings in the final match. The Indian batsman who changed his religion at the age of 25 played a big role in Chicago's victory. Chicago won the tournament title under the leadership of that Indian cricketer. After winning the final, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar gave the trophy to the captain of the winning team.

The name of that Indian cricketer is Robin Uthappa, under whose captaincy the Chicago team won the title of the first season of the National Cricket League T10. Robin Uthappa was earlier a Hindu but then at the age of 25, he changed his religion and became a Christian. Uthappa, who has retired from Indian cricket, has contributed with both the bat and captaincy in helping Chicago win the NCL title.
In the final match, Chicago CC batted first and scored 160 runs for 4 wickets in 10 overs. Captain Robin Uthappa, who came to open the innings, scored a quick 35 runs in 15 balls for the team, which included 3 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from him, Leonardo Julian played an innings of 61 runs in 22 balls.
Atlanta Kings now had a target of 162 runs to win, but they could not score more than 117 runs. Tom Bruce scored an unbeaten 61 off 21 balls for Atlanta, but his attempt to make the team win failed and in this way, Uthappa's team won the match.
Sachin handed over the trophy to Uthappa.Sachin Tendulkar, who arrived in America for the final match of NCL, handed over the victory trophy to Chicago CC captain Robin Uthappa after the victory.
