Eyewitnesses Describe an Unusual Radar Anomaly

One observer described the sight as a "huge rectangle" emitting a visible "vapor shock wave," which was picked up on Doppler weather radar. The witness noted, "I’ve seen many radar anomalies over the years…but never one that clearly shows a huge rectangle with a defined vapor shock wave and trail." Judging from the radar image, the rectangular object was estimated to stretch around 20 miles in length, sparking theories about the nature of the aircraft responsible.
