Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has invited applications for the recruitment of 5647 Apprentice posts. The registration process for this recruitment has started on November 4, 2024 and interested candidates can apply till December 32024. To apply for these posts, candidates have to visit the official website of Railways at nfr.railways.gov.in.

Number and distribution of posts

According to reports, these 5647 posts are divided across eight different locations. The number of posts in various workshops and regional units is as follows:

Age Limit

The age of the candidates applying for this recruitment should not be less than 15 years and not more than 24 years. That is, the date of birth of the candidates should not be before 3 December 2000 and after 3 December 2009.

Application Process and Fees

To apply, candidates have to register online. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, the application fee is exempted for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyang (PWD), and women candidates. Once the application form is filled, if any correction or change is required, then the application can be amended by paying an additional fee of Rs 50.

Selection Process

Selection for these posts will be done on the basis of a merit list. The candidate's 10th grade marks and ITI marks will be added to the merit list. After this, unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise merit will be prepared.
