Nadine Baggott recently tested a range of at-home hair products to colour her roots and get rid of the brass hues on her blonde tresses and one product "blew her mind" and it retails for less than £13 on Amazon.

The This Morning beauty presenter swore by the and she used "Silver Blonde" on her hair. It retails at £12.66 on Amazon, and there are 11 more shades available online.

Nadine called it "the greatest tonal conditioning mask ever used" and it revived her hair within the time she spent on her shaving routine. It saved her from taking trips to the salon every month and kept her hair in a cool shade in silvery blonde.

Sharing on social media, she explained how the tonal conditioners work: "The way it works is that it works on the colour wheel. And the opposite colours on the colour wheel are violet or purple, and orange. And that's what you're doing. You're essentially depositing a pigment on the surface of the hair that then tricks the eye into colour correcting the orange so that less of the orange reflects back and more of a silvery blonde."

The Jerome Russell mask gives blonde shoppers 'stunning' in a 10-minute treatment. The infused bond-building technology also reinforces hair's structure from within. Having tested the Jerome Russell Colour Bomb, Nadine was impressed with the result despite the product came out in a lighter shade of purple than many other competitors.

"This is Jerome Russell Colour Bomb Blondes and this is Silver Blonde. This is a colour depositing mask and I don't even leave this on for 15 minutes, I leave this on probably for about four or five minutes in the shower and it is mind blowingly good," Nadine continued.

"When I first popped it out onto my hand, I thought, well, that's not purple enough, that's not going to work. Explain to me why it outperforms every other product times 10. It might be the greatest tonal conditioning mask I've ever used. It's incredible and it really works, and it , and it does that. It's sort of three or four minutes, just set enough time for me to shave my armpits, shave my bikini line and my legs...too much information.

"If you're looking for a really good budget one, that you can just use virtually every time you wash, and that doesn't ruin your bathroom, Jerome. Jerome Russell Colorbomb is bomb."

But some Amazon customers left mixed reviews towards the £13 product, with one saying: "It works and gives a lovely colour, but doesn't last very long before it fades out. I'd say the same colour lasts one wash. Was hoping for a bit more longevity."

Another one had to wash it off after having irritation, sharing: "I thought I would try this product as it's not my usual one I get but had to wash it off straight away it was nipping my scalp and usually I'm ok with products on my scalp."

Other than Jerome Russell, Nadine also recommended the , £24.50, which worked a charm on her fine, damaged hair but she said it's "not as powerful in terms of toning as the conditioner". As a beauty writer, I swear by my , £31, and use it bi-weekly as a treatment to maintain my blonde balayage and it revives the colour without stripping away moisture in the hair.
