It was a special evening for Man City and Spain midfielder Rodri as he scooped the 2024 Ballon d'Or award at the glitzy ceremony in Paris.
The midfielder pipped Vinicius Jr to the post, on an evening that was dominated by headlines of Real Madrid boycotting the event after learning their star player wasn't in line to win the prestigious award. Jude Bellingham finished third following an incredible debut season for the Spanish giants and thanks to his exploits with England.
Meanwhile, there were plenty of other awards handed out - with Aitana Bonmati incredibly retaining the Ballon d'Or Feminin.
