Wimbledon's Centre Court hosted Novak Djokovic and Flavio Cobolli's quarter-final match, while Jannik Sinner took on Ben Shelton on Court One. However, BBC viewers trying to watch 38-year-old Djokovic play found that the stream returned to Sinner's match despite trying on multiple occasions to watch the Serbian's game.
Taking to X, one viewer wrote: "Could whoever is on the afternoon shift at BBC iPlayer please wake up? Clicking on the Djokovic match takes you through to the Sinner one! Please fix it!!" Another said: "Dear @BBCiPlayer please sort out your viewing options asap. We can't select Cobolli v Djokovic on Centre Court."
Someone else raged: "So I can't seem to find the Djokovic match on iplayer! I press it and get the Sinner match! Come on, BBC, sort it out!" A fourth said: "Just tried to get the Djokovic game on iPlayer and it's only showing the sinner/shelton game when you chose Djokovic game!!!"
However, one person offered help and wrote: "Anyone frustrated by @BBCSport the BBC'S inept coverage of @Wimbledon - the Djokovic link at the top of iPlayer bizarrely takes you to the Sinner match, but theres a second Djokovic link further down."
Someone else remarked: "@BBCSport having to watch Djokovic/Cobolli match on my laptop via the website, because contrary to promises, your iplayer link is showing the Sinner/Shelton match - which is also on BBC2!"
It's not the first time BBC viewers have criticised the Wimbledon coverage. Last week, Djokovic's match against Dan Evans was cut to an empty studio.
The game's audio could be heard, but the screen showed an empty room before another feed of fans at Henman Hill came through.
The camera took more than five minutes to return to the crucial match, and BBC commentators apologised for the technical issue.
This year's Wimbledon and the highlights can be watched on BBC iPlayer.
