Strictly Come Dancing sensation Wynne Evans has sparked concern among viewers, with some suggesting that he appears to be "not enjoying" his time on the show any longer.

The BBC's beloved dance contest made a thrilling return to our screens on Saturday (October 26), with tensions running high as the remaining celebrities prepared to vie for their spot in the ongoing competition.

Wynne Evans became the centre of attention as the Go Compare icon hit the dance floor with his professional partner, aiming to wow the judges and the audience with their Salsa performance.

Following his energetic routine, the opera singer looked visibly spent as he made his way towards Tess Daly to hear the judges' feedback, crawling across the floor.

Their performance evidently wowed the crowd, as Craig Revel Horwood awarded the advertising favourite seven points. The other judges seemed even more impressed, each bestowing him with eight points, which likely secures Wynne a place in the top half of the leaderboard, reports .

Despite the high scores, viewers at home have expressed their belief that Wynne may not be feeling his usual self, with one fan voicing their thoughts on X: "Wynne really doesn't seem to be enjoying the show as much as he did #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."

Another viewer remarked: "I thought Wyn looked a bit like he was being dragged around a bit #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly." while a third queried: "Anyone else think Wynne is faking a smile or is it just me?"

This week, the couples are pulling out all the stops with their routines and costumes for Halloween week, featuring performances inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Beetlejuice.

The judges also went all out for the spooky season, with viewers treated to Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke dressed as the twins from The Shining, Motsi Mabuse as Cruella de Vill, and Shirley Ballas as Winifred Sanderson

Meanwhile, Wynne reportedly caused a stir behind the scenes following an inappropriate comment. Insiders claim that while preparing for the show, he joked that his double chin resembled female anatomy.

The comment was allegedly made before the BBC contest's kickoff programme. An insider said: "It was a bit of a vulgar dad joke."

While the joke did not result in any formal complaints, it reportedly didn't go down well with some crew members. The insider added: "Wynne clearly didn't mean any offence, but you have to be a little bit careful these days."
