Olly Rix is reportedly dating a fellow Casualty star, sparking rumours after previously being linked to his Call the Midwife on-screen wife, Helen George.
The 40-year-old actor, who recently joined the BBC medical drama as Flynn Byron, is said to be getting close to Anna Chell, 28, who portrays Jodie Whyte and has been part of the cast since 2023.
The pair are allegedly enjoying a "blossoming romance" while working together, with fans expected to notice "hints" of their chemistry in upcoming Casualty episodes.
A source revealed to the Sun: "After finding himself uncomfortably thrust into the spotlight towards the end of his time on Call the Midwife, Olly's in a really good place at the moment."
They added that he has "settled" well into his new environment, stating: "Over the last year he's quickly settled into his new role on Casualty, got a new home in Cardiff where the drama is filmed, and is enjoying a blossoming romance with Anna."

The insider also hinted at the potential on-screen evidence of their relationship, commenting: "Devotees of the drama will no doubt be analysing their scenes together to see if there are tell-tale hints of chemistry between them - assuming they haven't already spotted signs."
Olly's representatives have been contacted by Express.co.uk.
Fans are buzzing as Olly and Anna have been spotted looking quite chummy on social media, with reports stating they etched each other's names into stone, flaunted by Olly on his Instagram over the weekend.
Olly's been turning heads since his entrance on Casualty as Flynn, Holby City ED's fresh clinical lead consultant, a role he clinched in March and has maintained impressively ever since.
Joining the Casualty crew, Olly has been working alongside Anna, known for her portrayal of Jodie, the newest nursing hotshot introduced to viewers in April 2023.
Olly's commitment to his Casualty role saw him relocate from the hustle and bustle of London to the heart of Cardiff, making it easier to get to Roath Lock Studios, where the BBC drama comes to life. OK! magazine captured his sentiments about the move: "Work is such a privilege and so much fun, and it can be profoundly pivotal and moving and revelatory, but it's still just work. It's not going to hold you at the end, so I know that friends and family are everything."
Before he scrubbed up for Casualty, fans may recall Olly's gripping performance as Matthew Aylward in Call the Midwife, a gig he held until 2022 and where romance rumours swirled about his relationship with Helen, who stars as Trixie, after they both found themselves single.
His association with Helen had previously garnered attention. A representative for her had indicated it was merely a friendship in 2023, before reports emerged in September of the previous year that she had joined a dating app following her 'split' from Olly.
