DI Ray season 2: Release date, cast details and episode count

Send Push

DI Ray season two is just around the corner, but when exactly will the crime drama kick off on ITV?

It's been a two-year hiatus since viewers last saw DI Rachita Ray (portrayed by Parminder Nagra) at the centre of the Birmingham-based drama.

In the previous season, the detective inspector found herself suspended by the police chief pending further investigation, so where does this leave DI Ray's career as she makes her comeback?

DI Ray Season 2 Release Date

Fortunately, the wait is nearly over with only a few more days until the popular series returns after a two-year break.

The second season of DI Ray is set to debut on Sunday, October 20, on ITV and ITVX.
