Harry Styles' mum, Anne Twist, has paid an emotional tribute to following his sudden death at the age of 31.

Anne took to Instagram to express her sorrow, posting a poignant image featuring a red broken heart emoji for her extensive 2.5 million followers to see. Her heart-wrenching post simply read: "Just a boy...," accompanied by yet another symbol of a shattered heart.

In a touching remembrance, Zayn Malik's sister Waliyha shared her disbelief and sorrow on X, which is the new name for Twitter, posting a throwback photo with Liam, commenting: "I can't believe it, I honestly have no words for this sad moment... I really can't believe it,".

The tragic series of events unfolded when Liam fell from the third floor of a hotel building in Buenos Aires. A flurry of emergency services including police, firefighters, and ambulances rushed to the scene outside the hotel after Liam's tragic fall.

Reports suggest that the authorities received calls about a man exhibiting aggressive behaviour within the hotel, potentially under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Tragedy struck when a body was discovered in an internal patio of a hotel, prompting the hotel manager to alert the police. It is suspected that Liam fell from a height of approximately 13 or 14 metres, sustaining "very serious injuries incompatible with life."

Meanwhile, Alberto Crescenti, a spokesperson for the City ambulance service, suggested the fall was closer to 40 metres, resulting in "severe injuries which were incompatible with life."

The Foreign Office (FCDO) has acknowledged it is liaising with Argentine officials "regarding reports of the death of a British man". Liam, who recently shared his adventures in Argentina on social media and attended a concert by Niall, his former bandmate, was thrust into the limelight at just 16 years old as part of the world's most famous boyband.

Heartfelt tributes are flooding in across social media for the 'Strip That Down' singer, with Paris Hilton being one of the stars to publicly express her sorrow. Devastated by the news, she tweeted: "So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family and loved ones. RIP my friend."

Ireland's pop twin sensations Jedward, who share a musical reality show heritage with Liam Payne as alumni of X Factor, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their grief: "RIP Liam Payne. condolences to friends and family."

The BRIT Awards organisation where Liam Payne had previously triumphed with seven wins from 12 nominations, added their voice to the tributes through a statement on X, declaiming: "We're incredibly sad to learn of the tragic passing of Liam Payne. Liam Payne uploaded a snapshot alongside Spurlock and former One Direction mates Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.

Accompanying the touching image, Liam penned: "Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock it was a pleasure working with you."

The post quickly became a hub for fans expressing their condolences after the abrupt announcement of Spurlock's passing.
