Emmerdale fans believe they've exposed Kev Townsend's shock Coronation Street connection in a huge twist.
ITV soap viewers will know that Robert Sugden's (Ryan Hawley) secret prison husband, Kev (Chris Coghill), recently arrived in the village, much to his ex-husband Aaron Dingle's (Danny Miller) frustration.
Kev told Robert that he was released on compassionate grounds as he had a terminal illness with only months to live.
However, local GP Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) has since uncovered the truth about Kev's condition, which isn't as life-limiting as he made it out to be.
Last week, Kev and Robert renewed their wedding vows before travelling to London for a few days, while Robert continues to keep his romance with Aaron under wraps, reports the Daily Star.
Ahead of the upcoming Corriedale crossover next year, several soap fans believe that Kev could be connected to Corrie villain Theo Silverton (played by James Cartwright).
Theo is currently involved in a dark coercive control plot with his boyfriend, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce).
The villain, who was previously married to a woman named Danielle (Natalie Anderson), had spent most of his life concealing his sexuality after his devoutly religious parents pushed him into undergoing conversion therapy when he was young.
ITV fans have been left devastated as Theo continues to manipulate Todd by isolating him from his friends and family, as well as lashing out at him physically.
One viewer believes that Theo could be connected to Kev through conversion therapy, as they both use similar calming techniques.
"Will Kev in Emmerdale and Theo in Corrie know each other in the crossover? Both have the bands on their wrists and both use them to stable themselves. Were they together in conversion therapy?" one person wrote on a Facebook fan page.
Another added: "Ooo this would be very interesting!" while a third said: "Yes they are quite similar so I could totally see this happening."
A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying, "This would be so good! I sense fireworks coming!"
Corrie and Emmerdale have confirmed a special interactive element for their upcoming crossover, which will see the two worlds collide.
Now, fans will get to have their own say as they can vote for their dream on-screen duo that could interact in Corriedale.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
Coronation Street airs at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
