One of the great things about the Switch 2 is that gaming fans can finally play the latest releases on a Nintendo device thanks to the increased power under the hood.
This includes titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Sonic X Shadow Generations and Street Fighter 6, which launched alongside the Switch 2 in June.
2K Sports has since announced another high-profile game for the Nintendo Switch 2, confirming plans to bring WWE 2K25 to the device later this month.
As you can see from the trailer below, WWE 2K25 has been given a July 23 release date for the Nintendo Switch 2.
This means the latest WWE game - which has an 80% score on Metacritic - will be available just before WWE's big Summerslam event on August 2 and August 3.
According to 2K Sports, the Switch 2 version will feature all of the game modes from PlayStation and Xbox, only with the ability to play in portable mode on the go.
"Pre-order is available today for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, which will support the full set of WWE 2K25 game modes and match types, while also offering the ability to play offline modes on-the-go, and online modes with internet connection."
The Standard Edition of the game is available for £59.99 on Nintendo Switch 2, while the Deadman Edition with additional content costs £89.99. There's also a ridiculously expensive Bloodline Edition, which costs a whopping £119.99.
The more expensive versions of the game contain the Season Pass, which adds wrestlers like Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Abyss and Shaq.
WWE 2K25 adds the Bloodline themed Showcase mode, which features iconic matches and moments from the group.
The game is also said to feature the return of chain wrestling, Underground and Bloodline Rules match types and barricade diving.
Elsewhere, MyGM is said to have gone global with the addition of online multiplayer and multi-week seasonal content.
WWE Universe mode features commentary-driven promos with new cutscenes, as well as branching choices with multiple outcomes.
The roster has also been given an upgrade, featuring more than 300 wrestlers from multiple generations, including The Undertaker, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and more.
