Meghan Markle has been accused of constant "needling" and "digging" after a podcast appearance earlier this month saw her make a dig at the Royal Family. Appearing on the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, the Duchess of Sussex - who quit royal life five years ago with husband Prince Harry - suggested that people had lied about.
When asked if she would do anything tdifferently to have changed the narrative around her public image, Meghan said: "Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth." This is believed to have been a dig at the Royal Family and life in the firm.
, Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English said: "This is what someone made the point to me, on a very serious basis they said 'look, why is she going back? Why couldn't she just answer the question in a positive way? Why's there constant needling and digging and casting conjecture on her time as a member of the Royal Family?'"
The duchess did not specifically mention the royals in the comment, but it is believed to have been a dig at the Firm, especially after having made other commets beforehand.
