Strictly Come Dancing couples graced the dance floor on Saturday night, debuting the show's first-ever Icons Week. Yet, Sunday (November 3) marked the departure of another pair from the competition.
Before the tension-filled dance off commenced, the professional dancers assembled for a Beyonce tribute routine, with Johannes Radebe shining as the star.
Johannes channelled his inner Sasha Fierce so convincingly that some Strictly fans were momentarily tricked into thinking host Claudia Winkleman had taken to the floor, due to one pro dancer's striking resemblance with long black hair and a full fringe.
On X, a viewer commented: "For a moment there, I thought that was Claudia #strictly", while another joked: "Nice of Claudia to join Johannes in the group routine tonight. #Strictly."
"Thought that was Claudia for a second #Strictly", a fan declared, as others joined in the chorus of praise for the Beyonce medley, hailing it as one of the best pro dance performances to date, reports .
A fan enthused: "Oh I know Jojo was livinggggg! ! One of my fave pro dances everrr #Strictly."
Another exclaimed: "I AM SCREAMING! ! pro dance of the series. Jojo is a 'true' icon #strictly", and yet another added: "Late to the #Strictly results but that pro dance was phenomenal! One of the best ever. Also I miss Oti."
Judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood all provided their expert opinions to the remaining 10 couples and delivered their scores on Saturday night. However, the game changed after the public had their say.
Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec led the pack with a score of 39 as they showcased their couple's choice routine to What About Us by Pink.
Reality star Pete morphed into Freddie Mercury to perform a Salsa to Another One Bites The Dust with Jowita. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned for the duo as they found themselves at the bottom.
Craig gave Pete and Jowita four points while Shirley, Anton, and Motsi each awarded them six points, resulting in a total of just 22 out of 40.
However, it was Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin who became the sixth couple to leave the dance floor this year. The pair faced off against Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe in the dance-off, who were saved by the judges.
The Strictly Come Dancing live show airs every Saturday on BBC One and iPlayer with the results show following on Sunday
