Microsoft Outlook was down for millions of people who could not access their Outlook accounts. The Microsoft outage began around 6.30am when users began reporting that they could not log into their accounts.
Microsoftconfirmed that a sever update had caused the problem and that it was "working on a resolution at this time". The company said: "There is no workaround at this time. A problematic update revision in the storage layer has been identified as potentially causing this issue, and repairs are in progress."
