Fox News anchor Bret Baier took a dig at Vice President and Democrat nominee Kamala Harris after her campaign allegedly pulled last-minute stunts to shorten the interview. Baier claimed that the Vice President showed up 15 minutes late for the the interview that was supposed to start at 5 p.m. in Pennsylvania on Wednesday. Referring to the incident, Bret Baier said, "We were supposed to start at 5 pm. This was the time they gave us. We were going to do 25 to 30 minutes. They came and said maybe 20..... And then the Vice President showed up at about 5:15"Video of Baer's allegations started doing rounds on social media. The Harris campaign has not yet responded to the allegations made by the Fox News anchor. However, it sparked a wide array of reactions on social media, with a largely divided comment section. There were some who alleged that the Vice President deliberately delayed the interview, whereas others suggested that the Harris campaign is on a tight schedule as the November election in just weeks away.

One person commented, "Wow, that's wild! Looks like they were trying to control the narrative a bit too much. Cutting time and delaying things isn't a good look, especially when people expect transparency." Whereas another comment read, "The interview lasted 31 minutes. He literally said multiple times that his producers wanted him to wrap it up," while referring to the time limit. Both Trump and Harris campaigns are holding rallies frequently since the last couple weeks. The presidential elections is scheduled for November, 5, 2024.
