East High School: Cheyenne Police Respond To Reports Of Student With Gun, Hold Protocol Active

On Wednesday morning, at around 11:55 a.m. local time, Cheyenne Police Officers received a report of a student carrying a gun inside the bathroom of East High School. Officers responded to the report at the Wyoming School immediately after the shooting and the school was placed on a lockdown. As per a Facebook post by the Cheyenne Police Department, officers have now cleared the building and determined that there is no active threat. No injuries have been reported. At around 12:35 p.m. local time, the lockdown was lifted and a Hold protocol was activated. Officers are still working to clear the area.This is a developing story.
