Pakistan's senior national men's team cricketers have been slammed after coach Jason Gillespie was seen picking up littered bottles from the nets after their session in Rawalpindi ahead of the third Test against England. He was seen picking up the empty bottles and throwing them off in the dustbin, leading fans to blame the cricketers for ignorance. On Tuesday, the video went viral on social media, where Gillespie was seen picking empty water bottles around the practice nets at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. While Gillespie deservedly received a lot of praise for his humility and awareness, the Pakistan cricketers were said to have a poor mentality over not doing their job themselves. The comments section of the 'X' post was full of rebuke for the Pakistan cricketers. One fan commented, "But we will not learn. @TheRealPCB please teach players some manners." Another user commented, "He’s just picking souvenirs for Babar." Pakistan's roller-coaster ridePakistan's poor run of form under Test skipper Shan Masood continued after they lost the series opener against England earlier this month by an innings and 47 runs, which came more than a month after they suffered their first-ever series loss to Bangladesh at home.Pakistan bounced back with a maiden victory under Masood and ended their 11-match winless streak at home as well when they won the second Test against England by a whopping 152 runs. They played on the same track as the first Test and that meant the ball turned heavily. A dry track prepared with the help of industrial-sized fans and outdoor heaters has now lured England to go with a three-pronged spin attack including Rehan Ahmed against Pakistan for the series-deciding third Test beginning Thursday in Rawalpindi. Ahmed has not played in any international format for the last eight months. Gus Atkinson was the sole specialist pacer in the announced line-up for the match.
