'Kesari 2' recorded an overall 29.74% occupancy on Sunday. Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad had the highest number of screenings and the best turnout for the film.
'Kesari 2' crosses 100 crores worldwide
According to Sacnilk, 'Kesari 2' crossed the Rs 100 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office on its second Sunday. The film had collected Rs 93.50 crore worldwide by Saturday, and early reports suggest it added over Rs 10 crore on Sunday, taking its 10-day worldwide total past the 100-crore mark.
On day 9, the film's worldwide collection stood at an estimated Rs 93.50 crore, with Rs 25.20 crore coming from overseas markets. The film’s India gross collection on the same day was Rs 68.30 crore.
'Kesari Chapter 2' stars Akshay Kumar as C. Sankaran Nair, the brave lawyer who fought against the British Raj to reveal the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film also features R. Madhavan as Advocate Neville McKinley and Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill.
