Bill Belichick's girlfriend Jordon Hudson finishes third in Miss Maine USA pageant

Jordon Hudson , best known to many as the 24-year-old girlfriend of NFL legend Bill Belichick, is carving her own path in the spotlight — and it has nothing to do with football. Over the weekend, Hudson stood tall in the Miss Maine USA 2025 pageant, walking away not only as the second runner-up but also with the “Most Stylish” award, proving that she’s more than just the partner of a Super Bowl-winning coach.

The two-day competition, held on May 10 and 11 in Portland, Maine, brought together 17 contestants from across the state. Representing her hometown of Hancock, Hudson competed in three major categories: interview, swimsuit, and evening gown. While Shelby Howell of Bangor took home the crown, Hudson turned heads with her poise, advocacy, and style — even rocking a Taylor Swift–inspired snakeskin set that contributed to her style win.

What made the event even more special was the presence of Bill Belichick himself. The 73-year-old coaching legend sat in the front row, proudly watching Hudson through each round. According to reports, he was seen alongside Hudson’s father, Heath Hudson, 52, during the preliminary rounds, and he returned the next day to support her through the finals — this time from a seat in the crowd at a Holiday Inn ballroom. For once, it was Belichick cheering from the sidelines, and fans loved every moment of it.

During the Q&A portion of the competition, Hudson offered a heartfelt response when asked which moment of her life she would relive. “I would go back to the days when I was on my family’s fishing boat in Hancock, Maine,” she said. She didn’t stop there, using the platform to shine a light on an issue close to her heart. “I think about this very often because there’s a mass exodus in the rural areas of Maine, and I don’t want to see more fishermen displaced. As your next Miss Maine USA, I would make it a point to go into the communities, to go to the legislator and go to the government to advocate for these people so they don’t to think about these memories as a past moment.”

It was clear that Hudson came into the pageant not just to win a crown but to champion causes that matter deeply to her. “I’m feeling an immense amount of pride right now,” she said onstage. “I’m hoping anyone who’s watching this finds the strength to push through whatever it is they are going through and embodies that hate never wins.”

But Hudson’s journey is not confined to pageants. Outside the glitz and glamour, she is a landlord and a passionate advocate for fishermen in her home state. She’s also taken on a professional role in managing Belichick’s personal brand — a relationship that UNC, where Belichick currently coaches, described as both personal and professional.

Their dynamic captured headlines recently when Hudson briefly interrupted a CBS News interview featuring Belichick. “We’re not talking about this,” she said, shutting down a question about their relationship. Belichick later clarified, “She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track.”

Now that the pageant has wrapped up, it’s safe to say the couple might have a little downtime — unless, of course, they decide to take on another project together. A reality show, perhaps? Whatever comes next, one thing is clear: Jordon Hudson is no sidekick. She’s building her own legacy — and doing it with style.
