Travis Hunter , the versatile star from Colorado , is making headlines with his bold claim he’s ready to play both offense and defense in the NFL. Known for dominating as both a wide receiver and defensive back in college, Hunter has asked NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to announce him in both positions during the draft.

Social media backs Travis Hunter’s drive, but NFL insiders remain skeptical of the grind
Travis Hunter is confident in his stamina and skill, saying he can handle playing every snap of the game. Fans are loving the energy and ambition, flooding social media with support. However, not everyone’s convinced. Analysts have raised concerns about how sustainable a two-way role would be in the physically demanding NFL.

In a recent chat on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Travis Hunter was asked how many snaps he thinks he could handle in a single game. Without hesitation, he said, “All of them. If they give me the chance and the opportunity to do it."

Fans are buzzing with excitement over Travis Hunter's NFL ambitions. One fan called him a total “football guy” and “literally the perfect prospect,” while another begged, “Please let him try it.” A Browns supporter chimed in, “I’d obviously love Abdul Carter, but I am 100% fully on the Travis Hunter Cleveland Browns wagon. Having a player like that is too exciting. Trade back up for a QB, or something.”

As one fan summed it up: “I think this is great. Is it realistic? Absolutely not! But this kid LOVES football. That’s exactly what you’re looking for. If he stays healthy, he’s gonna be a superstar whichever position he chooses.”

During his appearance on SiriusXM, host Bruce Murray asked Travis Hunter about the difficulties of playing both offense and defense in the NFL. Murray pointed out the time demands that come with juggling multiple position meetings and all the prep work that goes into performing at an elite level. He raised the question of how realistic it is to manage the mental and physical workload required to succeed on both sides of the ball.

"Well, we kind of got 24 hours in a day," Hunter responded. "We probably sleep for about eight of those so we probably got 16 more." As the draft nears, teams like the Giants and Browns are weighing their options. The Browns, especially, are rumored to be leaning toward drafting him at No. 2 overall. Hunter recently impressed scouts during Colorado’s Pro Day, boosting excitement around his draft potential.
