Jeff Hardy, a renowned legend of WWE one-half of the iconic Hardy Boyz, has been replaced in an upcoming TNA Wrestling tag team championship match due to legal constraints, preventing his travel to Canada. The WWE icon won’t be teaming up with his brother Matt Hardy in an upcoming major match.

Previously, Jeff and Matt aka "The Hardy Boyz" defeated the defending champions at Bound for Glory 2024 to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship for the third time.

They faced a defeat at the hands of Nic and Ryan Nemeth at Rebellion 2025. However, on May 23 at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, a rematch was scheduled for Under Siege. But, it now seems that Jeff Hardy has to be replaced due to his prior legal issues, and won’t be allowed to visit Canada for the event.

Jeff and Matt Hardy won’t be teaming up together for their upcoming TNA match
WWE legendary Tag Team members Jeff and Matt Hardy will not be teaming up together for their upcoming match due to legal travel issues with Canada. Over the years, Jeff Hardy's legal issues have certainly taken a toll on his wrestling career.

Back in 2021, he was let go by WWE after he chose not to go to rehab following a troubling incident at a live event. Even though he passed a drug test afterward, WWE still decided to part ways with him. Later on, Jeff made his way to AEW and eventually made a comeback to TNA Wrestling, teaming up again with his brother.

Earlier, the Nemeth brothers interrupted to mock their rivals. As per reports, it was Nic, who suggested the rematch take place at Under Siege, then Ryan sweetened the offer to make it a ladder match. They did this knowing full well that Jeff can’t cross the border into Canada due to previous legal issues. The Nemeths considered that to mean the rematch is cancelled, so they will be moving on.

As per reports, Matt Hardy will now join force with Leon Slater in the the upcoming Under Siege event . It will be now exciting to watch if the duo can reclaim the TNA World Tag Team Championships in Jeff's absence.
