A great day for Barcelona as they celebrated winning the La Liga title turned into a delightful moment when goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny 's seven-year-old son, Liam, decided to attempt a bicycle kick. But his father was not about to let anyone score on him — not even his own child, whose acrobatic effort caught everyone's attention. In goal position, his father waited as young Liam Szczesny set himself up for a bicycle kick attempt. And yet, with a celebratory atmosphere, Szczesny's goalkeeper instincts kicked in: he had to make a full-stretch save to prevent his son's acrobatic effort, drawing laughs and cheers from teammates and fans.


Videos of the incident went viral on social media, with one post describing it as: 'Szczęsny's son pulls off a picture-perfect bicycle kick — But dad?' Even during celebrations, they are full-stretch save. No mercy. No goals.

Barcelona claimed 28th La Liga titleOne moment of Barcelona's massive title celebrations, made up of over 670,000 fans flooding the city streets, was the Szczesny family moment. That defeat of city rivals Espanyol 2-0 on May 15 clinched the 28th La Liga title for the team, sealing a season that fans have dubbed incredible under coach Hansi Flick.


The 33-year-old joined Barcelona earlier this season after coming out of retirement and has been a key man in the team's success. He also put his former Juventus teammate Robert Lewandowski in the frame for the Golden Boot during the celebrations.
It was the Szczesny family's celebrationMarina, the wife of the Polish goalkeeper, and his son Liam were seen celebrating with the entire family. The celebrations provided a glimpse of the more personal side of the often outspoken, intense, and competitive goalkeeper.

Since joining the club, ex-Juventus star and veteran goalkeeper Szczesny has made a mark, and club president Joan Laporta recently hinted at a new deal. However, the bicycle kick save has become a fan favourite with Barcelona supporters, and with more moments like that, the Szczesny family has been welcomed with open arms.
