NEW DELHI: The Assam government on Saturday announced that mobile internet services in Assam will be suspended for eight hours on Sunday, starting at 8:30 am, to ensure the smooth conduct of a recruitment test.
The government's directive aims to prevent any potential disruptions during the examination. All mobile network operators have been instructed to comply with this order, ensuring that the services are restored by 4:30 pm the same day.
"All are requested to bear with the inconvenience in the interest of holding a free, fair and transparent recruitment examination and thereby securing the future of the youths of the state," the release, issued by the secretary, State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts, said.
